Katrina Armstrong
Principal Consultant and Director
Katrina brings over 30 years of experience in the disability and human services sectors. This includes working in direct operational roles as a support worker and manager of accommodation and respite services, to leading policy and program teams to deliver major reform projects. Major projects Katrina has worked on have included planning and delivering new shared living homes for people with disability, NDIS transition projects, individualised funding projects and sector capacity building projects.
Katrina is passionate about innovative service delivery models that truly embed the principles of self-determination and inclusion. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of local and international best practice when it comes to helping people and organisations to deliver truly person-centred services.
In 2018, Katrina completed the Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditors course and is currently working as a NDIS Lead Auditor and sector consultant. Katrina brings a unique perspective and skill set to support new services to get established and help existing providers to grow and evolve their organisations.
As a former executive within the NSW public service and within not-for-profit organisations, Katrina also gets good governance. Katrina has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and brings a wealth of practical advice to support small and medium organisations.
In addition to her career experience, Katrina’s other qualifications includes a Bachelor of Arts, Certificate in Managing Successful Programs, and a Certificate IV in Business.
In her spare time Katrina loves spending time with her family and menagerie of sheep, alpacas, chooks, and an active border collie . Katrina is also entering the exciting world of e-biking and is looking forward to hitting the trails.
